The day was ending. The wildlife in the Royal Manas National Park campus wasn’t as vibrant as it used to be six years ago. I was there a month early than my previous visit in 2013. I consoled myself with some long exposure shots by the Manas River. I could hear frequent splashes of fish feeding on surface floatings.

I wouldn’t mind visiting again. It is a perfect place to immerse yourself into wilderness and contemplate on how fortunate we are. I am grateful to Their Majesties the Kings for their farsighted leadership and enlightened visions. Our natural heritage is diverse and rich. I have no doubt Bhutan will be leader in environmental conservation for times to come.
